Bill Cunningham, New York Times

Bill Cunningham from the New York Times has been around for ages and is such an icon in NYC for many reasons, including his weekly 'On The Street' articles, which captures the most stylish women of the week. A recent document that's a must-see, "Bill Cunningham New York" follows Bill as he pedals through the streets of New York City capturing glamorous garments and trends of the most recognizable rich and famous as well as nameless individuals. Throughout the film, Bill carries himself with an infectious smile, endearing attitude and establishes relationships with several of the most important and wealthiest women in NYC, whom trust Bill with his impeccable eye for photography, art and fashion. At the beginning of the film, Anna Wintour said it best, "We all get dressed for Bill."

NYC Rooftop Gardens

Something that you don't see very often in Arizona are rooftop gardens like those in New York City. They're so rare and such a treat to see. Not to mention their spectacular views overlooking the city's hustle and bustle below.

Destination: New York City

Several years ago, my Mom and I took a trip to the East Coast. We stopped in places such as, Maine and Rhode Island as well as my favorite, New York. While we visited New York, we ventured towards the typical tourist attractions such as the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. We even took a red double decker bus tour around the city. How much more touristy could it have gotten? As much as I enjoyed these attractions, I would love to take another trip to the big apple and experience it from a local point of view! Therefore, these would be a few of the places I would make sure to visit if I had another opportunity to visit NYC.
