Travel Bug?

 My parents and my sister are off on tropical and beach vacations this week while I'm trekking along in 100 degree weather. I've got it made in shade, right? 

That's a joke, but obviously not a good one. Naturally, I'm jealous. As in uuuuber jealous. 

So, of course I'm being bit by the travel bug and dying to get out of Arizona for awhile. 

I'm thinking LA, San Diego or Vegas.

Summer Is Coming!

Arizona's weather is notoriously hot. In fact, we're already beginning to roast here and it's only the very beginning of May! Typical. Verrrry typical AZ. Some love it while others hate it. Normally I'm one of those that dislikes this time of year each time it rolls around. However, this year I"m trying to embrace it! I plan to take advantage of our abnormal heat and be poolside with a drink in my hand, a playlist to bounce around to and a book to keep me company! Okay, I may cheat a little and head further West to enjoy a little cooler weather in California a few times.
Don't judge- This heat is brutal. 

HAPPY COACHELLA

This weekend I flew out to LA and made the trek with a friend to Indio, CA where we camped out for 3 days and danced to the beats at the most amazing music festival, COACHELLA!

It was such an inspirational weekend that I'll never forget!

Coachella: Fashion Scene

Coachella was an incredible experience to be a part of! I had such an amazing time!  Since I came back, I have felt so inspired by the music, the scenery and most importantly the fashion!

 While I was there, I saw a few celebrities, including Jessica Szohr, whom looked gorgeous in a red flowly maxi skirt! I took tons of photos that I'm still editing and will soon be posting. Before I do though, I wanted to share some of the A-list celebs that pulled off rockin' Coachella inspired looks at the festival!

Manhattan Beach

This weekend I took off to enjoy some sun, sand and shopping in LA with a friend! It was such a fun and memorable weekend! My favorite part of the trip was enjoying a delicious lunch with sangria on the water in Manhattan Beach with an old friend then shopping along the coast and grabbing yummy ice cream before we took off to enjoy sight seeing in LA!

Living on the West coast isn't the same without an ocean nearby. That's why I long to live in California someday! 

Laguna Beach's Tuvalu

One of the best parts of living in Arizona is that southern California is only a few hours away. Therefore, my family and I have traditionally spent several summers together escaping the heat and relaxing in California. Last summer was no exception when my family and I traveled to Carlsbad. While we were there, we took a drive down to Laguna Beach for a day and explored the city. While strolling around I found this amazing coastal home furnishing and decor store called, Tuvalu. Simply put, I fell in love and I think you will too. Check out their website.
