A Bright Future

Now that I am finished with finals there's only one thing left to do, graduate! I cannot tell you how excited I am to finish school and move on to a new chapter in my life. (Then again there's always grad school approaching in a couple of years) Before I can start my new career though, I have to walk on stage and accept my diploma and then celebrate it with friends and family at my party. Therefore, here are a few graduation party ideas to get me in the mood as I wait for another 4 days till it's time to celebrate!

Max and Chloe Monogram Necklace

Lauren Conrad is one of my favorites and when I first saw her wearing this Max and Chloe monogram necklace with her initial L in the middle, I knew I had to have it! I think this might be an early graduation gift to myself!

The Met

The Met has always been a showcase of stunning fashion statements. This year was no exception. Here are MANY photos from the red carpet. It was too hard to choose which ones I loved the most so I had to choose them all! You'll see why! 

Sopressata Panini with Fresh Mozzarella & Pesto

Inspired by the Hot Sopressata Sandwich at Salumi in Seattle, WA 

Ingredients: 

4 ciabatta rolls or 1 ciabatta loaf, cut into 4 pieces

3/4 cup pesto

8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced

12 slices sopressata or salami

Directions: 

Preheat the panini grill to medium-high heat. 

Split the ciabatta lengthwise to create top and bottom halves. 

For each sandwich: Spread 1-2 tablespoons of pesto inside each bread half. On the bottom half layer several slices of cheese and several slices of sopressata. Close the sandwich with the top half. 

Grill 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and the bread is toasted. Cut in half, serve immediately and enjoy.

We have all seen and heard of the elusive Birkin designed by Hermes. It has been one of the most coveted bags since Hermes began making it in 1984 after the British actress, Jane Birkin. The price ranges from approximately $9,000 to $34,000 for a crocodile skin. Not only is the price out of this world, so is the wait time to receive your own. In fact, there's a two year waiting list! (Unless you know Lucy Liu, of course! Sex and The City anyone?) No matter what, this bag has every element that a woman could ever wish for! It's classy and chic yet trendy and modern. Here are a few celebrities that are out and about with their Birkins.
